Our Little Angel is one year old!!

Our Little Doll is doing all the tricks and magic to keep me away from blogging....no complaints am thoroughly enjoying being her Mommy.
Last week she turned one......time flies, isn't it!! We did a 'Red color themed Birthday Party'. We had chosen a pretty Off-white dress with red satin roses.....so the theme just followed her dress.

First things first.....I must thank all those lovely bloggers who share their ideas and crafts on this wonderful "www" world..... inspired by many of their ideas, gave it a little twist of my own.....and Viola!! we had some lovely decorations and a fun filled party. My lovely Mom helped me with all the handmade paper decorations. Sharing some pictures from our party. Guess the Pictures say it all!!

We celebrated her birthday at home...so a small place to decorate and accommodate a close circle of relatives and friends. This was the birthday backdrop. I hand cut the name and number from a thick red card stock. The pinatas are inspired from the internet and made from Gift wrapping paper.

Hats for the kiddo guests, made from Card stock.
This thumbprint guest book was totally inspired by the internet. I had been seeing a lot of these and was waiting for a chance to do it...and this was my big chance. I have a big-time scrapbook plan - Recording My little doll's first year's highlights and this page will be a part of that mega project. So this was the set-up for our guests to make some colorful balloons for our daughter to fly away to her second year!! I chose a picture of hers and made this idea of balloons.

Our guests were more than happy to do the thumbpinting....this picture still needs some final touches...it'll happen before this page enters the scrapbook.
We had ordered Muffins for our guests...so these were the muffin toppers.
We had some yummy muffins with these lovely toppers.

Like many of the inspired ideas..sharing a picture of her growing up in the past 12 months was an idea I thoroughly liked.... especially for a 'Photography maniac Mom' like me who had collected loads of pictures of her Baby...this was a lovely idea.

My Mom added extra charm to these pictures by doing those lovely frilled paper badges. These badges were very neat and cute...Thanks Amma!!

Like I said i had lots of pictures to showoff.....so some hand cut Paper flowers to showcase some cute pictures of my Doll.

Finally....this is how my doll looked in her red Angel wings.....all happy...all smiles ......having fun at her party.

One again a huge Thanks to all the lovely crafters for sharing their ideas on their blogs and sites.

Cheers,
Chinnu

The muffin toppers are just awesome!!! I don't know why I don't do that for my kids parties - it just looks superb! My son's bday is end of this month, you have inspired me to try it out! Thanks!
